Carol Channing is an amazingly created characterization that goes beyond mere imitation or impersonation. He has found the inner life and made it vibrant and entertaining. His skill at improvising with the audience while still maintaining the characterization of Ms. Channing is a truly artistic thing to see. I look forward to enjoying more performances in the future.
