We were in a party of 6. The show was great! The best possible performance of Carol Channing I've ever seen . She must be pleased with the professional way you portray her onstage. Hope you bring her back to Conway again soon. You are a very gracious host.

Richard's Carol is amazing. Carol Channing is the embodiment of the comic spirit. And Richard embodies Carol. If only he could bring about a revival of interest in Carol's greatest film ---------- "Skidoo"

We've seen Richard perform many times and he is incredible. We are looking forward to seeing him at Source Theatre on April 25th, so if you are in the DC/VA/MD area, you must come to the Source Theatre and see Richard as Carol-an evening you won't forget. Joel

Richard, thank you for including me as "Roseanne Barr" in your Dillon's shows. Once more I was amazed watching you morph into Carol! Your vocals continue to amaze me ... I have to remind myself that you are Richard, because I truly work with Carol Channing! Love you Richard! - Anne Kissel performing as "Roseanne Barr"

Dear Richard, I was a guest at one of your performances. Whatever my thoughts were going, they were quickly dispelled when Richard Skipper did not appear that evening, only Carol Channing on stage performing to a sold out audience of fans. I enjoyed myself tremendously. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

As the booker of Dillon's Supper Club I have dealt with many performers and have never worked with anyone as professional in manner as Richard Skipper. His show is fantastic and his business etiquette unsurpassed.

Dear Richard, Well, the show without a doubt was one of your best! From the start, you outclassed yourself. With Roseanne, Janet Finale, Sue, the "Private Dancer" & of course Tracy at the keys, the show was extremely well-rounded & an "extreme delight" for everyone in attendance! Thanks so much for so much joy, love & fun throughout the show. You're truly a classic! Love, Rick

Dear "Ricky": I was so happy to hear you were doing so well in life and are fulfilling your dreams! I hope that life continues to come up roses for you. You always wanted to do this and you had the "guts" to go for it...for that I commend you. Of course, I am still in Conway just "rotting" away. I wish I had you ambition. Good Luck and Best Wishes!! Dear Richard, "Promise You'll Never Go Away...RICHARD SKIPPER!" YOU ARE SENSATIONAL!!! It was a great pleasure having you perform at my Angel Cabaret Theatre on Thanksgiving. We had RAVE reviews from our patrons and everyone wants to know when you are coming BACK! At one point as my wife and I sat there mesmerized by your amazing talents, we both agreed that had we not hired you for this engagement, we would be convinced that YOU WERE CAROL CHANNING!!!!! Thank you so much. You are a professional in every sense of the word and Dee Etta and I LOVED having you be part of our Angel Cabaret family. Till Next time... Thank you and WE LOVE YOU! Mr. Skipper facilitates the audience's ability to suspend belief with his loving portrayal of Miss Channing. He never breaks character; in fact, I'm fairly certain Mr. Skipper left the room and Carol herself was our hostess for the evening. The feedback I have received regarding the show has been more than positive, it has been glowing. And it was a pleasure to work with Mr. Skipper. Do not hesitate to bring Mr. Skipper to your venue. His show will not miss.

Hi Richard, I loved your show! It was very funny in a positive way, and it was great to see you involve the audience with your quick wit and friendly, takeover personality.

Dear Richard, How delighted I was to finally be able to see your loving re-creation of Carol Channing tonight at the Duplex! Both my choreographer friend Daniel and I really enjoyed ourselves. And what a surprise to hear not only Carol's tried-and-true numbers and patter, but her unique version of songs that were written for others, like "Gee But It's Good To Be Here", "Hey Look Me Over", and "Almost Young". Also, how kind of you to mention THE ROGER EDENS SONGBOOK (and me) from the stage and to include me in your onstage audience participation. I had no idea I'd end up onstage this evening doing jazz squares to "Roxie", but it was fun! All that off-the-cuff improv dialogue based on what the audience gives you -- I don't know how you do it. I know you are trying to move the show to off-B'way soon -- I look forward to cheering you on opening night! Again, thank you for a wonderful EVENING WITH CAROL CHANNING. All good wishes, Morgan Sills

Dear Richard, I mean Carol, We loved your show on Thanksgiving Day. Do you know that many in the audience actually thought you were the real Carol Channing and most had no idea that you are a man. I saw Carol in Hello Dolly on B'way & my wife saw her in Las Vegas. Let me tell you, you do a fantastic job. We've told this to our NYC friends and we are going to be in the City on 12/7. Hope we can get to see you again. Lots of success. Nelson & Dianne Jantzen In Gooseberry Manor On Gooseberry Pond

I saw Richard Skipper on 10/7/03 at The Duplex. Carol Channing is an amazingly created characterization that goes beyond mere imitation or impersonation. He has found the inner life and made it vibrant and entertaining. His skill at improvising with the audience while still maintaining the characterization of Ms. Channing is a truly artistic thing to see. I look forward to enjoying more performances in the future.
