Dear Richard Congratulations on a great new show! It certainly was an exciting evening. You just get better and better all the time... though it doesn't seem possible you could be better! The audience response was exciting... your performances never cease to amaze me. The entire audience had smiles on their faces throughout. Your knowlege of Miss Channing is intense, so that you are able to answer any question off the cuff as if you were her. What a joy and what a blessing that you do these shows. Great!!!

My favorite parts of the MAC awards were the 2nd half with all the impersonators playing the famous stars of the past. In the center of it all was our own Richard Skipper as Carol. It was so thrilling to see the talent on this stage and their ability to portray the talent of the past. Richard as always represented Miss Channing with class and charm as a real Broadway legend.

I have seen many female impersonators, drag shows(TRUST ME...THIS IS NOT A DRAG SHOW!), etc. Never have I seen a portrayal so respectful, reverent and wonderfully entertaining. Richard Skipper's Carol Channing is a delight and gives honor to the great talent of both performers. I will come back for more! Thank you!

It was great hearing from you Richard. Even though you are booked solidly for the summer, it would be nice if you could manage to get up to the cottage in June or Sept. Give our best to Dan. Kindest regards Glenn & Claire

Hi Richard, Had such a good time at your performance in West Nyack on March 22--- I loved that you started with Gee But It's Good to be Here--- my friends were impressed that I knew that it was Ethel Merman's song for Happy Hunting (early '50's). Keep on singing! Paul Bloom

Richard, though I've seen you sing at parties many times before, your performance at the Rockland Center for the Arts was unsurpassed. You have the persona of Carol Channing down to a natural science. Your rapport with the audience was effortless and truly as enjoyable as any of the numbers you sang. A kiss on the hand may be quite continental, but your performance as Carol Channing is priceless!

Richard, Since I saw you last year at the Palace Theatre Trust's benefit, you have been a constant source of joy. After that appearance, my partner and I caught your show at Don't Tell Mama in NYC, which was so exciting for us, and now, with your recordings available, I can hear you whenever I'd like. What a thrill! I wish you many more successes! Bob Cormier

Had the opportunity to see your performance again at the Voices For Charity Cabaret in NJ on Sunday. It was fantastic. The show was a huge success due to your performance as the emcee and for your wonderful personality on stage. I was especially awed by your ability to communicate with the audience so beautifully. Thanks for making this cabaret another success for the Voices For Charity. Brent Miller, Music Chair

Superlatives describe the performance, the presentation and the resulting experience. To be brought to the delight of one star by another is indeed a gift to behold. You are the presence of Carol Channing and yet unmistakably you!!! BRAVO...The APPLAUSE can be heard!

My dear Richard, It was a great pleasure to be a part of 'Carol's Cavalcade' in March. Your shows are always done with great professionalism, talented cast and always such fun. The audience response will attest to this ! Of course, having 'Carol' as host is the most fun. I hope you continue to present these kinds of evenings and would be happy to be a part of one in the future. YOU'RE THE BEST !

Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your Carol's Cabaret Cavalcade on March 4th at the Triad. The show was beautifully produced. I had a wonderful time. What a joy to be onstage with you. I've seen you probably 100's of times at this point, but it's always different because of your incredible interaction with the audience. You're a riot! I think it's time that you did an Off-Broadway show, don't you? I'll be there when you do.

Richard, After all these years of enjoying your friendship, I finally got to meet CAROL!!! One of the first Broadway songs I remember was "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend"...remember a camp buddy singing it up on stage & loving it....and then I saw the show. Even though I disagree (since I'm brunette) I love it! Loved you too, and all my friends did too. How many people would bring their boss to a show? xoxox

Richard did not perform as Carol Channing. He was Carol Channing. In a performance that can only be described as a love letter to Ms. Channing, Richard not only spread the joy of the moment but a solid belief that I was watching Carol Channing. I began to feel that I knew this star as I was being entertained by songs from a long career and through the personal "autobiographical" reminiscences. The show was a joyous, poignent, completely engaging evening. Three chreers for Ms. Channing....opps Mr. Skipper.

Richard's performance at the Rockland Center for the Arts illuminated a packed room in a two hour tribute to Carol Channing. What a joy-- Richard's extraordinary talent hit home to all there who were riveted and constantly laughing.

RICHARD SKIPPER CAPTURED THE AUDIENCE LAST NIGHT AT 'THE ROCKLAND CENTER FOR THE ARTS' W. NYACK, NY. NOT ONLY WAS HE MARVELOUS, BUT HE KNOWS CAROL CHANNING BETTER THAN CAROL CHANNING KNOWS HERSELF! HE WAS GIVEN AN OUTSTANDING OVATION. TWO HOURS WAS NOT ENOUGH. THE AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION, THE COSTUMES, THE ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS COSTUME JEWELRY THAT YOU COULD PLOTZ FROM; AS HE GRACEFULLY REMOVED FROM HIS FINGERS, THREW SOME RINGS INTO THE AUDIENCE, AND VOILA. I TELL YOU THAT THE MAN IS A GEM, HE HAS FEELINGS FOR OTHERS, AND HIS REMARKS ARE FUNNY AND WITTY. THIS SHOW IS A SHOWSTOPPER, AND SHOULD NOT BE MISSED. I'M STILL SINGING 'HELLO DOLLY.' YOU'LL SING IT TOO BECAUSE 'RICHARD SKIPPER' IS CAROL CHANNING. THANK YOU RICHARD FOR YOUR VERY SPECIAL SELF, TALENT, AND CHARISMA. 'MAZEL TOV AND L'CHAIM' LYDIA ******
