New York's Richard Skipper-vocalist and impersonator par excellence-is a seasoned performer with a wide range of talents. A featured artist at some of the New York & Atlantic City's finest venues, including The Trump's Taj Mahal, The Hilton, & Friar's Club, he has also played at Chez Suzzette, Le Cirque (for Cindy Adams), The "21" Club (for Arlene Dahl), The Regents (for Carol Channing herself), performances include Tavern On The Green, Pegasus, and several extended runs at Don't Tell Mama in Manhattan.
   Richard is the recipient of the 1998 Back Stage Bistro Award for outstanding achievement in impersonations. He was also named one of the top ten cabaret performers of 1997 by Cabaret Hotline and the recipient of The Leonardo deVinci Award by the Beaux Arts Society for best female impersonation for "CAROL CHANNING'S BROADWAY" in '97. A favorite at special events, Richard performed at Joey Adams' 85th birthday celebration at Le Cirque, Arlene Dahl's annual Christmas party, gave a private performance for Carol Channing's staff and family, and at the kick-off party for Cindy Adams' 'GOSSIP'.
   As an actor, he starred in the Off-Broadway comedy hit Men of Manhattan. Other stage roles include Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew, and Hines in The Pajama Game. Richard has toured the country with his own show "An Evening with Carol Channing and Judy Garland" for which he received critical acclaim from many reviewers.
