THE CARING COMMUNITY TO HONOR DODY GOODMAN, DR. WILLIAM A. COOK AND GREENWICH VILLAGE CHELSEA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE - Entertainment legend, Dody Goodman, will be honored at The Caring Communityís Annual Gala & Silent Auction. Dinner 7:00PM. Ms. Goodman, whose career spans the golden age of musical comedy (Wonderful Town and Something for the Boys) and televisionís golden age (Jack Parr and Mary Hartman Mary Hartman). She is also an author (Women, Women, Women!) and an accomplished director. In recognition of these achievements, Ms. Goodman will receive the organizationís second annual Greenwich Village Achievement Award. Steve Ross, New Yorkís Crown Prince of Cabaret, assisted by Broadway star, Lee Roy Reams, and Richard Skipper will provide a musical tribute to Ms. Goodman.

Other honorees include Dr. William A. Cook, an oncologist at Saint Vincentís Comprehensive Cancer Center, who will receive the 2006 Humanitarian Award, and the Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce that will receive a new Corporate Partner Award.
