RICHARD SKIPPER CELEBRATES PEGGY HERMAN'S CD RELEASE OF HERMAN ON HERMAN
Last year, PEGGY HERMAN paid tribute to Broadway legend JERRY HERMAN, in an acclaimed cabaret act, HERMAN ON HERMAN (WITH A TOUCH OF MERMAN!), directed by PETER GLEBO & TOMMY TUNE. The act featured exciting new arrangements of songs from HELLO DOLLY!, MAME, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, MACK & MABEL, and other Herman hits. Since then, Peggy has been in the studio, recording songs from the act, plus additional material ("The Best of Times Is Now", "Before the Parade Passes By", "If He Walked Into My Life"). The CD, entitled IT'S TODAY, lends a fresh, contemporary take on these classic songs. Backed by an ensemble of top-notch New York musicians (featuring renowned arranger ALEX RYBECK on keyboards, JERED EGAN on bass, and REX BENINCASA on percussion, plus strings, brass and winds), IT'S TODAY gives the Jerry Herman Songbook a new spin. Join us at FEINSTEIN'S on MAY 6 for the festive release of this long-awaited and highly anticipated CD, and find out why the critics love Peggy singing Jerry. It's a little bit pop, a little bit Broadway, and a lot of heart. It's today! Please call 212-339-4095 for reservations or further information.

RICHARD SKIPPER CELEBRATES Ronald Young
In his new memoir, "The Only Boy Who Danced: A Journey from Oklahoma to Broadway and Beyond", Ronald Young details an eventful life in the theaterThe Only Boy Who Danced: A Journey from Oklahoma to Broadway and Beyond.

Sometimes Broadway dreams do come true. After arriving in Manhattan on a Friday, he auditions for his first Broadway show on Monday. Bingo! After three call back auditions he snags his first dancing role in the soon to be mega hit "HELLO, DOLLY!" directed and choreographed by Gower Champion and starring Carol Channing. Armed with three music degrees and lots of enthusiasm he embarks on his career on Broadway. His resumÄ includes working with some of the legends of the theater: Ethel Merman, Shirley Booth, Angela Lansbury, Tommy Tune, Bernadette Peters, Joel Gray, Chita Rivera, Sandy Duncan, Georgia Engel and many others. He appeared in a host of shows: "MAME," "GEORGE M!" "THE BOY FRIEND," "MY ONE AND ONLY," "A CHORUS LINE" and the films "HAIR" and "ANNIE." "THE ONLY BOY WHO DANCED" is a series of compelling, riveting stories about Ronald Young's personal quest to make it on Broadway.
