As a Career Counselor AND Coach, I:
...Know what Artistic Directors seek. I make hundreds of calls weekly, interview with hundreds of prospects, and book a large percentage of those gigs.
...Understand this market because I've spent the last fifteen years working on the road.
...Understand the career building AND management process from an entertainer's perspective AND an Artistic Director's, and how different venues go about filling their seasons.
Richard Skipper's 4 Step Model
My clients engage in these sessions from the comfort of their homes. The initial consultation is conducted over the phone. (No charge for this).
We'll talk for 25 minutes and I'll ask you pointed questions that will get me the information I need to personalize my services to meet your unique situation.
In two sessions, I will help you investigate your professional strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, and your current situation, and bring focus to YOUR self-directed career DEVELOPMENT, helping you make THE best and most highly individualized decisions possible.
This phase, usually three sessions in length, helps you design and execute your career plan. It includes strategy, documentation (such as your press kit), web site, conducting a search, networking, and interviewing skills.
Upon completion of the coaching process, we will schedule follow-up calls over the following weeks to help ensure your success. We might recommend some additional counseling and coaching sessions.
Here at Elegant Diamond Productions, our mission is to help individuals decide upon, design, and achieve careers that are contributing to their success as a dynamic, contributing artists in their respective fields of expertise. I believe that having the career you desire is attainable IF you're willing to do the groundwork it takes. This will define the way in which you earn your living, how you contribute to the world around you, and in large part, how you define yourself as a person.
Finding work is crucial to emotional, psychological, and physical well-being.
